Terms of Service

Effective August 15, 2026

These terms govern use of the ClockDesk service. By creating or using a ClockDesk workspace, you agree to use the service in accordance with these terms.

1. The service

ClockDesk is a business time-tracking service for recording employee clock-ins, clock-outs, breaks, worked hours, timesheets, corrections, and related workspace information. ClockDesk is not a payroll processor, accounting service, law firm, or substitute for professional employment, tax, payroll, or legal advice.

2. Business responsibility

The business or workspace owner is responsible for deciding how ClockDesk is used, who is authorized to access the workspace, whether employee records are accurate, and whether the business complies with wage-and-hour, recordkeeping, privacy, notice, consent, and employment requirements that apply to it.

ClockDesk calculations and records should be reviewed before they are relied on for payroll, compensation, legal reporting, or other high-impact decisions.

3. Accounts and access

Managers are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and devices. Businesses are responsible for protecting kiosk access and employee PINs and for removing access when a person should no longer use the service.

You may not attempt to access another business workspace, another employee’s records without authorization, or any part of ClockDesk through circumvention, exploitation, automated abuse, credential attacks, or other unauthorized means.

4. Subscription and billing

Paid ClockDesk subscriptions are billed on the recurring schedule and at the price shown during checkout. Billing is processed by Stripe. A customer can manage payment methods and subscription settings through the ClockDesk billing portal.

When a subscription is scheduled for cancellation, cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid billing period unless Stripe or the checkout flow clearly states otherwise. Access may continue through that paid period while the subscription remains active.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use ClockDesk to violate law, infringe the rights of others, distribute malicious software, probe or overload the service, scrape data you are not authorized to access, interfere with another customer, or attempt to defeat authentication, workspace isolation, rate limits, billing controls, or security protections.

6. Availability and changes

ClockDesk may change, improve, repair, suspend, or discontinue features as the service evolves. Reasonable efforts are made to keep the service available and data accurate, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

7. Customer data

Businesses retain responsibility for the employee and business information they provide to ClockDesk. You grant ClockDesk permission to process that information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, support, and improve the service and to meet applicable operational or legal obligations.

8. Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended for nonpayment, security threats, abuse, unlawful use, attempts to compromise the service, or material violations of these terms. A customer may cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal according to the billing terms shown there.

9. Disclaimers and limitation

ClockDesk is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Businesses remain responsible for reviewing time records and maintaining any independent records required for payroll, employment, tax, or legal purposes.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ClockDesk is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as ClockDesk changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after updated terms take effect means the service is being used under the updated terms, subject to rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
